            including without limitation, any warranties of
            merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose.
            William S. Hiles, or anybody, shall not be liable for any
            damages, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential
            arising from a failure of this program to operate in the
            manner desired by the user.  William S. Hiles shall not be
            liable for any damage to data or property which may be
            caused directly or indirectly by use of the program.

            IN NO EVENT WILL William S. Hiles BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY
            DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS OR OTHER
            INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE
            OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY
            OTHER PARTY.



                              REGISTRATION INFORMATION


            A PMsndX registration licenses you to use the product on a
            regular basis.  Individual users need register only one copy
            of PMsndX for personal use.  Registration may be purchased
            in levels as explained below.  Upgrades are NOT
            automatically sent to registered users.

            PMsndX is not public domain software, nor is it free
            software. PMsndX is copyright (C) 1994 by William S. Hiles.
            Non-registered users are granted a limited license to use
            PMsndX on a trial basis fo the purpose of determining
            whether PMsndX is suitable for their needs.  Use of PMsndX,
            except for this limited purpose requires registration.  Use
            of non-registered copies of PMsndX by any person, business,
            corporation, governmental agency or other institution is
            strictly forbidden.

            Registration grants a user the right to use PMsndX on a
            single computer.  A registered user may use the program on a
            different computer, but may not use the program on more than
            one computer at the same time.

            The seven files, pmsndx.exe, pmsndx.hlp, readme.txt,
            history.txt, license.txt, order.txt and file_id.diz must
            always be included during distribution.  Any alterations to
            the files must be clearly documented.  No changes may be
            made to the ABOUT screen or any of the copyright
            information.

            Passwords provided to registered users may not be
            transferred to other users nor may they be used on any






            computer other than that used by the person who holds the
            registration.

            Users are granted permission to collect fees for the
            distribution of PMsndX, (such as BBS's that have a
            membership fee or a downloading charge, or FTP sites that
            sell cdrom versions of their archives) but users are
            specifically prohibited from selling PMsndX as a product or
            bundling PMsndX with other products that are then sold.  it
            may be given away for free.

            Unless otherwise negotiated in writing with the Author,
            registered versions of PMsndX may not be distributed in part
            or in whole.  Registrations are provided to individuals (or
            for site licensing as negotaited at time or registration)
            and may not be distributed or transferred.

            PMsndX may not be distributed in conjunction with any other
            products unless authorized by the author in writing.

            Distributors of public domain or user supported software may
            distribute copies of PMsndX subject to the above conditions.

            Registration assumes  you have  already  received a  copy of
            the program from whatever  source.   We do not  provide
            diskettes  or manuals.    The  registration fee  covers
            only  the  use of  the program.   Any fees for diskettes,
            postage, and packaging are due in addition to the
            registration fees.

            USERS OUTSIDE  THE US: Please send checks drawn on US banks
            in US dollars.

                          Corporate and Quantity Purchases


            All corporate, business, government  or other commercial
            users of PMsndX  must  be registered.  Corporate or  site
            licensing is available.

            Licensing  agreements  allow  duplication  and
            distribution  of specific  numbers  of  copies  within  the
            licensed institution. Duplication  of multiple  copies  is
            not  allowed except  through execution of a licensing
            agreement.
