Finder-SuperStructure This is a Beta demonstration version of a Clipper program which produces a breakdown of all User Defined Functions and Procedures in a Clipper PRG file set. The basic purpose of Finder is to generate a dictionary of UDFs and procedures in a Clipper application, where they are declared and where they are used. A User's Manual is supplied in the file SSINFO.TXT. When Finder is run it scans all PRG files in a specified directory and generates a DBF file which identifies - Which PRG file contains the declaration for the function or procedure - The line number in the PRG file where the procedure/function is declared - The functions and procedures called within a UDF/procedure and the line numbers in the PRG where the calls occur - Facilities to add notes about a function or procedure - View the source PRG file at the line where a call to a UDF is made - Generate a database of PRG comments. Help files are available in the demo - using the F1 key. Not always meaningful in this Beta but a start. This Beta demo version was originally produced under Clipper 5.01. It is currently being upgraded and enhanced to Clipper 5.2d. This demo version is fully functional and its only limitations are that - only five PRG files can be scanned at one time - the UDF/procedure DBF files are zapped after the run (although they can be rebuilt) This demo version of the program is the copyright of the author and is issued as shareware. If you wish a copy of the full version of the program and free upgrades to the new enhanced version please contact the author for details on CompuServe 100275,1443. All comments and bug reports are welcome. The full version with free upgrade is available at a cost of $US50 (35 pounds sterling).
