Part 1: Description

MiniHelp Plus v3.21 is a Windows Help Authoring utility that
creates a Windows Help file from a specially formatted ASCII
text file containing simple, easy-to-learn commands.

MiniHelp Plus v3.21 allows users to "tie together" a lot of the
tools they already have and are comfortable with to create
Windows Help files. With MiniHelp Plus v3.21, a user can
launch their favorite ASCII text editor, with or without their
current Help file project already loaded in. User's can view/edit
the RTF, HPJ and context-sensitive Help Header files at the
click of a mouse button. Also, users can view/edit the graphics
in their Help file project in one of the graphic file formats
supported by Windows Help (bitmaps, hot spot graphics, or
Windows metafiles) at the click of a mouse button.

MiniHelp Plus v3.21 is fully configurable, allowing the user
to specify the ASCII text editor, graphics editor, hot spot
editor, and version of the Help Compiler he/she wants to use,
as well as select several options for the performance of
MiniHelp Plus v3.21.

MiniHelp Plus v3.21 is SHAREWARE. The registration fee
is $30, and users who register will receive a free utility disk
detailing usage of the DOCUMENTED and UNDOCUMENTED
Help macros, the Microsoft Help Writer's Authoring Guide,
a MiniHelp Plus Hints & Tips Help file, the MiniHelp Plus
Reference Library that ties these all together and also includes
two special Help utilities that allow users to "dissect and peek
under the hood" of Help files to see what makes them tick,
three DLLs to extend the functionality of Windows Help, a
collection of bitmapped images to use in their Help file creations,
the Microsoft Hot Spot Editor, and access to supplemental
MiniHelp Plus files on the MiniHelp Plus support BBS,
HOUSE OF CARDS (913-592-4163).


Part 2: Distribution
========================================================

MiniHelp Plus v3.21 may be distributed freely so long as the original
ZIP file, MHPLUS32.ZIP is distributed intact and unaltered. Permission
must be received to distribute MiniHelp Plus v3.21 on retail racks,
on CD Roms, or bundled with any other product.

Disk Vendors, Shareware Distributors and BBS(s) may charge a nominal
fee for distribution of the program. The recipient of MiniHelp Plus v3.21
must be informed, in advance, that the fee paid to acquire MiniHelp Plus
v3.21 does not relieve the recipient from an obligation to pay the
registration fee of $30 if the recipient continues to use MiniHelp Plus v3.21.
That nominal fee may not exceed $5.00 per disk (if included as part of a
"shareware bundle disk") or the cost of disk duplication, whichever is less.
Exceptions to the fee restriction may be obtained by contacting the author
of the program directly.
