Thank-you for your interest in About Magic!


Purpose:
--------
The purpose of About Magic is the aid developers in the creation
of a great About Box. This control has a the necessary information
to have a professional looking About box like Microsoft Windows.
All that needs to be done is add the control to the form and then
tell labels or textboxes on the form were you want to put the
information. It's that easy and there is really no code involved.
There is no help file with this custom control as of now but one is
in development, the code is simple and can be seen by example in the
DEMO app provided. If you would like to see a HELP file please email

System requirements:
--------------------
Visual Basic 2.0 or above
Windows 3.1 or above


Registration information:
-------------------------
The price of a single user (FOR USE BY ONE DEVELOPER) licensed
version is $15.00. The control may be distributed royalty-free.

In order to use the About Magic custom control a LIC (license file)
must be available while in the Visual Basic design-time environment.
This LIC file will be shipped to you after registration. For further 
registration information please see the ABOUTMGC.HLP file.

The following files are included in the download:

	  README.TXT	this file
	* ABOUTMGC.VBX	the About Magic custom control	
       ** ABOUTMGC.HLP  the Windows Help file (for registered users only!)
       ** ABOUTMGC.LIC	License File (for registered users only!)
	  ABOUTMGC.MAK  This MAK file and the other files: FRM and 
			FRX are included as the Visual Basic DEMO source
			code.

(*) These files should be copied to your Microsoft Windows \SYSTEM
    directory.
(**)This file should be copied to your Microsoft Windows directory.


ABOUTMGC.VBX Files:

The following files are not-included but are necessary:

	! VBRUN300.DLL	Visual Basic RUNTIME dynamic link library

(!) These control ship with Visual Basic 3.0. They are not included
