README.TXT LEDDISP.VBX Version 1.2 This readme file accompanies Version 1.2 of LEDDISP.VBX, a Visual Basic custom control which features a display simulating a conventional, digital seven-segment display. This file contains the most up-to-date information about the control. WHATS NEW Version 1.2 * Adds support for Visual C++, VB 1.0, etc. * Corrects error in numeric '7' in one of the bitmaps. Version 1.1 * Adds upright characters. * Improved rendering of smaller bitmaps. LICENSE Please read the license document which comes with the package. Although this product is distributed as shareware, it is not free. You may evaluate the product, and if you wish to use the LED Display control in your VB application, you must register it. The shareware distribution is identical in all respects to the commercial version which you will receive when you register. The commercial version does not display the registration dialog at startup. You may distribute the software with your application royalty-free, but you may not distribute the LEDDISP.VBX file alone. Also, you may not distribute the help file. In shops using this control for product development, each developer must register the control for use on his or her machine. REGISTRATION The help file contains all the registration details, and there is also an order form (ORDER.TXT) which can be fax'ed in to register the control. You will receive a diskette via UPS.
