VIEWING STATISTICAL MATCHUPS
 To use this option, click on the Analyze Scheduled game button, or pull down the "View" menu and select "Statistical Matchups."  From the sub menu, you can choose to look at a "Scheduled Game" or analyze "Any Two Teams."

Professional sports gamblers choose their weekly "plays" VERY carefully, and while a few will rely on computer predictions, many prefer to use their own judgement and instincts.  Instead, these pros use an arsenal of other tools and resources before making their picks.  CASH is such a tool.  The "Stat Matchup" feature gives head-to-head data in over 74 different categories!  Here are some of the statistics available for your analysis and comparison:

   Rush Attempts

   Pass Attempts

   The stats above are broken down into four different categories, 
   displayed across one line for easy comparison.  Examples have been
   included after each description listed below, for a game between
   Denver (visiting) and Detroit (home).

      Offense -  	The offensive stats for the visiting team. 
                       	(Denver is rushing for 100 yds per game.)
      Versus Opp -	The defensive stats for the visitor's opponents.  
                          	(Denver's OPPONENTS allow 134 rush yds per game.)
      Defense -     	The defensive stats for the home team.
                          	(Detroit allows 80 rushing yards per game.)
      Versus Opp -	The offensive stats for the home's opponents.
                            	(Detroit's OPPONENTS rush for 120 yds per game.)
      CASH -        	The adjusted stat.

   HOW TO USE THE INFORMATION PROVIDED:  
   Stats can sometimes be misleading, particularly early in the 
   season.  A team that has been rushing for 100 yards per game may 
   have attained this figure against teams who are weak or strong
   AGAINST the rush.  CASH will adjust the offensive and defensive 
   stats accordingly before it uses them in any calculations.

   Fumbles 
        Total - Total fumbles.  
        Lost - Total fumbles lost.
        Loss Chance/Rush - The chance of fumbling per rush attempt.
   Interceptions
        Total - Total interceptions.
        Avg/Game - Average interceptions per game.
        Chance/Pass - The chance of intercepting per pass attempt.
   Turnovers
        Total - Total turnovers per game.  (Interceptions + fumbles.)
        Avg/Game - Average turnovers per game.
        Chance/Play - The chance of a turnover per offensive play.
   Field Goals
        Attempts - Total field goal attempts.
        Made - Total field goals made.
        Avg/Game - Average field goals per game.
   Off. TDs
        Total - Total offensive touchdowns.
        Avg/Game - Average offensive touchdowns per game.
        Yds/TD - Average yards per touchdown.
   Earned Points
        Total - Total earned points.  (Offensive TDs + FGmd.)
        Avg/Game - Average earned points per game.
        Yds/Ept - Average yards per earned point.
   Scoring Oppts.
        Total - Total offensive scoring opportunities.
        TD% - Percentage of scoring opps resulting in touchdowns.
        FGmd% - Percentage of scoring opps resulting in field goals.
   Off. Poss.
        Total - Total offensive possessions.
        Avg/Game - Average offensive possessions per game.
        Yds/Poss - Average yards per offensive possession.

        TD% - Percentage of possessions ending in a TD.
        FGmd% - Percentage of possessions ending in a Field Goal.
        T.O.% - Percentage of possessions ending in a turnover.
        Punt% - Percentage of possessions ending in a punt.
