                 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND INSTALLATION
                 ------------------------------------

If you downloaded this file from a BBS, please uncompress the files
first.  Then run SETUP.EXE in Windows -- from the Windows Program
Manager select FILE, RUN and then type DRIVE:\PATHNAME\SETUP and hit
<Enter>.  For example, if your files are in a directory called NEWJOBS
on the C-drive, you would run C:\NEWJOBS\SETUP from within Windows. 
If your files are on a disk in the A-drive you would simply type
A:\SETUP and hit <Enter> from within the Windows Program Manager.

JobHunt requires Windows 3.1 and 3 Meg of available RAM.  The BBS
edition also requires a file named VBRUN300.DLL which you may have to
download separately then place it in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory
(e.g., C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VBRUN300.DLL).  IF YOU BOUGHT THIS PROGRAM
FROM A DISK-VENDOR IT ALREADY INCLUDES THIS FILE.  BBS users can also
download this file by calling Microsoft's Download Service at
(206) 936-6735 or Scope's BBS at (704) 535-0610.  Both of these boards
are easy to get into and the download is FREE except for the
long-distance calling charge if applicable (look for the self-
extracting file named VBRUN300.EXE or zipped file VBRUN300.ZIP). 
Almost every good BBS will have VBRUN300.DLL somewhere on the board. 
When searching, be sure to search ALL the files on the BBS.  Many
boards carry such files on CD-ROMs and the CD-ROM conferences must
often be reached separately.  You may discover that this file is not
found in the "Main Conference" or on the "Main Board" but almost
certainly available in a separate CD-ROM conference that has been
removed from the main board in order to conserve hard disk space on
the BBS.  Note that the file will probably be compressed in some way
and the actual file-name may end in .DL_, .ZIP, .ARJ or .EXE.  If
after searching your BBS you still cannot find this file, please leave
a note to your local SysOp who will be able to show you how to
download it easily.
