You have now received the shareware-version of Win-Family. To gain the most
from the program we suggest you read this first.

What kind of program is it ?

It is a program for storing and processing genealogical data.

* Import/export from/to other programs.
* Tree-views of ancestors and descendants in various formats.
* Statistics of various kinds.
* Lots of different printouts that can be customized as you like.
* Different utilities like free text search and so on.

Documentation :

There is no manual with this program. All documentation is in the form of Windows
online help. This is the natural place for it !

Installation :

You install the program by running a 'setup' program that will transfer all files to
your harddisk and open a group in progman.
The name of the program is : 'Setupw'.
We have included a sample file : 'Kings.gen' which is the family tree of the danish
kings. Some of the data is in danish, but you can use the file to play around with
the possibilities of the program.
Hint : 'Gorm den gamle' is the oldest known king and 'Margrethe II' is our current queen.

Restrictions :

There is only one restriction to this shareware version : You can preview all printouts
but you cannot actually print.

Price and ordering :

The program costs US $40 in the non-EEC countries.
In the EEC 25% VAT is added for a total of US $50.

This includes postage to any place in the world.

We are not able to accept creditcard payment, but check, moneyorder or cash will do nicely.
