SOFTWARE LICENCE AND WARRANTY INFORMATION

Software License

Button  Manager is not and has never been public domain software,
nor  is  it  free software.  It is Copyright (c) by  AKC  Applied
Knowledge Corporation, with All Rights Reserved world-wide.

Non-licensed  users are granted a limited license to  use  Button
Manager  on  a 30-day trial basis for the purpose of  determining
whether  Button  Manager is suitable for their needs.   Continued
use  of  Button  Manager beyond the initial 30-day  trial  period
requires  registration.  The use of unlicensed copies  of  Button
Manager  by any person, business, corporation, government  agency
or any other entity is strictly prohibited.

Paying the registration fee will license one copy for use on  any
one  computer at any one time.  You must treat this software just
like  a  book.  An example is that the licensed software  may  be
used  by  any number of people and may be freely moved  from  one
computer  location to another, so long as there is no possibility
of  it  being  used  at one location while  it's  being  used  at
another. Just as a book cannot be read by two different people at
the same time.

You may not modify the Button Manager executable file in any way,
including   but   not   limited   to  translating,   decompiling,
disassembling,  or  otherwise reverse  engineering  the  program.
Furthermore, none of the supporting files may be modified in  any
manner.

A  limited  license  is  granted to copy  and  distribute  Button
Manager  only for the trial use of others, subject to  the  above
limitations, and also the following:

1.   Button  Manager must be copied in unmodified form,  complete
     with  all the files identified in the Required files section
     of the Help File (and in the README.TXT file).

2.   The  Button Manager User and Registration Identifiers, which
     are  assigned when this product is registered,  may  not  be
     distributed.

3.   The  person or entity distributing the product may not claim
     to own it.

4.   No  fee,  charge, or other compensation may be requested  or
     accepted  to distribute Button Manager, except as authorized
     below:

     BBSs,   User   Groups,  Mail-Order  Disk   Vendors,   CD-ROM
     publishers, and BBS File-Distribution Networks may charge  a
     fee  to  distribute Button Manager, assuming they provide  a
     complete and unaltered copy of the product, it is clear that
     the  product is Shareware, and they do not claim to own  the
     product.

     Mail-Order  Disk Vendors and CD-ROM publishers  MUST  inform
     AKC Applied Knowledge Corporation that they will be carrying
     the  product prior to publication, so that they can be  kept
     up-to-date with the latest version of Button Manager.  BBSs,
     User  Groups, and BBS Distribution Networks MAY contact  AKC
     if  they  want to be kept up-to-date with the latest version
     of Button Manager.

5.   AKC  Applied  Knowledge Corporation reserves  the  right  to
     revoke  any  permission granted here, by  notifying  you  in
     writing.


Warranty Information

"BUTTON  MANAGER" (HEREAFTER REFERRED TO AS "SOFTWARE")  AND  THE
ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTATION IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY  OF
ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
IMPLIED   WARRANTIES  OF  MERCHANTABILITY  AND  FITNESS   FOR   A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY  LAW,  IN
NO  EVENT WILL AKC APPLIED KNOWLEDGE CORPORATION OR ITS SUPPLIERS
BE  LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS,  OR  SPECIAL
DAMAGES,  EVEN  IF  AKC  APPLIED KNOWLEDGE CORPORATION  HAD  BEEN
ADVISED  OF  THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.  IN ANY  CASE,  AKC
APPLIED  KNOWLEDGE  CORPORATION'S  ENTIRE  LIABILITY  UNDER   ANY
PROVISION  OF  THIS  AGREEMENT SHALL BE  LIMITED  TO  THE  AMOUNT
ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SOFTWARE.

USE  OF  THIS  PRODUCT  FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME  CONSTITUTES  YOUR
ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT AND SUBJECTS YOU TO ITS CONTENTS.
