MCKS is released as a shareware so that you try out the software on your
system to see if it meet your needs before you pay.  If you decide that
you like MCKS and want to use it then you should register it and pay the
annual license fee.

The registration fee is US$25.00 and the annual license fee is US$25.00
per copy installed.  Your fee for the first year of usage is therefore
US$50.00.  If you continue to use it after the first year, you must pay an
annual license fee of US$25.00 per copy installed.

As this is a Beta release, users can register for the first year at only
US$25.00.  Your license will only expire at the end of the first year of
the initial official release.

If you are only using this software for viewing MCKS databases, you are
free to use it indefinitely.  However, if you like MCKS and like to
contribute to our development effort, you can send your donations to the
above address.  Any amount is welcomed.  We need your financial support
to develop the Windows and the Client-Server versions of MCKS.
