Before printing, in File/Page Setup set the left and right margins to ".1". PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This program is a Room Reservation system, allowing the tracking of room reservations specified in half hour increments. System set-up allows user specification of room numbers (alphanumeric), room properties, and the assignment of properties to specific rooms. Other than the keying of name, phone number, and room size, all functions are mouse driven. The system searches for a room matching the requirements. A visual calendar allows the saving of multiple events (per booking) with only three mouse actions. Four reports are available, screen or hard copy. Queries can be made by user name, by room number and date, or by date alone, showing all events by room for a given date. A drop down list containing all user names can be clicked on to post a given name to the booking screen. Events with a past date are purged automatically. Backup and restore (floppy) functions are built in. The system maintains two sets of files (on the hard drive), the second of which is a copy of the primary files, updated only at the conclusion of a successful save. This allows immediate recovery in the event of system failure during a save, which generally leaves behind corrupted files. PROGRAM STATUS: This system is Copyright (C) and may not be modified without the written permission of the author. The system is being marketed as ShareWare. Ordering information can be found by running the program; select Ordering from the MISC drop down menu.
