Recon version 1.0 for Windows95 By: Jeremy Gelber (jeremy@rtvsoft.demon.co.uk) This is a small 32 bit program that fills a great gap in the dial-up networking provided in Windows95. The purpose is to redial a connection that is lost due to the line disconnecting. This is accomplished by polling the open windows for one titled "Reestablish Connection" and when it sees the window it presses the button titled "Reconnect..." and redials your connection. All you have to do is out this in your startup group and let it go, as there is no noticible effect on the system. The only 2 options are to hit the reconnect button and to have it execute a batch file when it dials. This batch file executes imediately (this will be changed in a later version to wait 30seconds). Thank you to Shaddow on irc channel #windows95 for the inspiration (otherwise I would have never written this, really!) and to both Shaddow and Minder (also of #windows95) for testing and working out the bugs. Recon is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
