Thanks for downloading Edit-Calc!  Please share this program with

This is a simple, but effective calculator program.  The difference 
between this one and the calculator app that ships with Windows is the 
capability of storing all entries and responses in a scrollable window.  
In effect, your PC can be used as if it were an adding machine.

Installing Edit-Calc is not unlike any other Windows shareware
installation process.  Use PKUNZIP to decompress the files in
EDCALC10.ZIP, then create a directory on an available drive, and copy
all the files into it.  The necessary files are:

EDCALC10.ZIP (may be deleted after decompressing)
README.TXT (this file)
OWL250.DLL
BC450RTL.DLL
BIDS45.DLL
ECALC.HLP
EDITCALC.EXE

Then....  go to Program Manager and add the Edit-Calc start-up icon 
to the group from which you wish to start it.   If you don't know how 
to do that, it's:

(from Program Manager)
->highlight the desired program group
->select File|New
->select Browse
->click on directory name where Edit-Calc files are installed
->double-click on EDITCALC.EXE
->click OK

And, finally, you need to add your new directory to your path.  To 
do this, edit the PATH= statement in your AUTOEXEC.BAT to include that
directory.

After you get the program installed, refer to Help | Overview for 
registration information.
