**************** 21 Release Notes **************** Included files: **************** -21.EXE -21.INI -README.TXT -CMDIALOG.VBX -MSAFINX.DLL Not included but necessary (you probably already have these in your system directory, if not, you can get 'em anywhere): **************** -COMMDLG.DLL -VBRUN300.DLL How to install: **************** 1. Copy 21.INI to you Windows directory, ususally C:\WINDOWS. 2. Copy MSAFINX.DLL and CMDIALOG.VBX to your Windows system directory, usually C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM. This step is not necessary if you already have these files on your system. 3. Make a directory anywhere you want, call it whatever you want, and dump 21.EXE in it. 4. Make a program item in the Program Manager or Norton Desktop or whatever you have, and point it to 21.EXE. 5. If you like, stick it in your StartUp group. 6. Drink some really cheap wine. Preferably something that isn't actually a wine, but says "wine product" on the label. 7. Skip classes the next day. And the next. The story behind 21 ******************* 21 is a program I quickly threw together on a dull Sunday afternoon using Visual Basic for Windows 3.0. It was inspired by four Shiner Bocks sitting in my fridge that a friend had bought for me, and my longing to be able to buy them myself. I knew that there were young people across the nation like me who yearn daily for the time when they will be of age. This program is for those people. Naturally, I assume no responsibility for anything whatsoever that happens to anybody who uses this program. I don't even guarantee that it will work. I hacked the thing together in a matter of hours, it doesn't do much, and furthermore, I haven't even run it on Windows 3.x, because I'm using a beta copy of Windows 95. So there. After all, it's not like I'm asking for money. Though I wouldn't turn money down, either. The nifty booze jug was drawn by my bastard roommate, Kenneth Berendzen. How to contact the author ************************* You can e-mail me at my internet address: bananafish@mail.utexas.edu I will love and cherish any e-mail I get regarding this program. Tell me if you like the program, if it sucked, whatever. Also, feel free to check out my web page, which is chock full of bullshit, useless info about me, and tons of cool links: http://ccwf.cc.utexas.edu/~hpriest/index.html
