pcBASE: An affordable chess database for Windows

o   Run the SETUP.EXE program from the Program Manager within
    Windows.  This can be done by clicking on the Program Manager's
    (F)ile menu and selecting the (R)un option from the popup menu.
    Select the [Browse] option from the Run Dialog box and then select
    the appropriate drive and directory (usually A:\) and then double
    click on the SETUP.EXE program to run it.

o   During the installation process for pcBASE, it may be found that
    duplicate files exist on your system (duplicating some of the files
    in the pcBASE distribution).  If it all possible, it is recommended
    that you keep the existing file _and_ install the new file.  If
    this proves impossible, then just have the pcBASE install program
    skip installation of the troublesome file.  This should only occur
    with the COMMDLG.DLL and THREED.VBX files... which are common files
    to many applications.

o   Registration of pcBASE includes a printed manual, a large pre-loaded
    database, 150,000+ positions, and a removal of the 10 move limit on
    games.
