New Features and Fixes in Version 4 =================================== New Features ------------ Notes can be attached to each phonebook entry. A new pop-up calendar. Event sounds that occur when you open and close windows, dial numbers, etc. Online help. Context-sensitive help on most forms and menus by pressing F1. Pop-up help on many objects using Ctrl+right-click. Redial busy numbers in the background (with DIALW minimized). Two-line display of the phonebook entries. Phonebook sorting with a single keypress. Insert a blank phonebook entry with the Insert key. Delete the current phonebook entry with the Delete key. Individual dialing prefix ("Long distance prefix"). The currently open phonebook is now displayed on the title bar. Home, End, PgUp, PgDn keys can be used to move through the phonebook sections. A phonebook can be selected to be the default, i.e., automatically loaded at runtime. (Registered version only). You can select to have DIALW start up in minimized mode. You can search all phonebooks as well as the current one (Registered version only). Fixes ----- Fixed bug where program would exit if you had displayed calculator, exited it, then tried to display it again. Phonebook Notes no longer lost if you sort the PB. Help file cleaned up a little. Alarm sounds are no longer CPU speed sensitive. Ampersand now displays correctly in a phonebook entry. The File Menu now more closely conforms with the Windows standard. You can now search a phonebook for a number as well as a name. The pop-up calculator is now Windows' Calculator (CALC.EXE). instead of a calculator internal to DIALW. Alarm messages can now be up to 254 characters (increased from 50 characters). Phonebook sections may now be sorted individually.
