Krystal Cat Software 56 Almon Ave Brockton, MA 02401 On AOL: KrysCat Internet: KrysCat@AOL.COM February 1, 1995 Dear Visual Basic Programmer, Like yourself, I have often wondered why all the really good graphics programming techniques were reserved for the C or C++ programmer. I have sought to write decent games in Basic since I owned my first TI 99/4a computer in the early 80's. In December of 1994, I decided to find a way to translate some of the C books that I had collected over the years and to decipher some of the dark mysterious arts of math manipulation. The result is the product you currently are reading about. Krystal Cat is dedicated to bringing techniques of game programming in a simple to understand format to Visual Basic developers. I hope you enjoy this, and any subsequent packages you may download for evaluation. The source code is completely documented with in-line comments, and each example will contain a text file covering the major highlights of the code. Krystal Cat will be offering a full line of demonstrations, along with images and tools that will be helpful in developing games with Visual Basic. The project files have been compiled with the simplest of custom controls, and NO THIRD PARTY controls are required to accomplish the programming tasks. These demo's are shell engines that are designed to demonstrate techniques that you can use, royalty free, in your applications. I hope you enjoy, and will benefit, from our efforts. Krystal Cat assumes no responsibility for any problems that arise from the use of our products, not limited to but including an incredible addiction to late night game programming. Have Fun. Krystal
