1. WELCOME TO INGENUS TEXT BLASTER
----------------------------------

Welcome to Ingenus Text Blaster(tm), The Ultimate Text File Print Utility(tm)!

Ingenus Text Blaster is an indispensable print utility program for people who
print text files and IBM mainframe SYSOUT files on Windows page printers
(laser and ink jet).  With Ingenus Text Blaster you can very quickly produce
high quality printouts of your text files.  It prints in any of sixteen
predefined styles which range from 1 to 4 columns per page.  And, true to its
name, it's fast!

2. INGENUS TEXT BLASTER COMPONENTS
----------------------------------

Ingenus Text Blaster 1.0 includes the following components:

Text Blaster program         The Ultimate Text File Print Utility

Text Blaster Setup program   Installs and removes all Ingenus Text Blaster
                             components on your system.  This includes
                             files, icons and groups in the Program
                             Manager.

Text Blaster Auto-Exec Icon  Invokes Ingenus Text Blaster with command line
                             parameters which cause it to automatically start,
                             print the specified files, and then shut down.
                             This is handy if you tend to print a certain 
                             file name repeatedly.  The example prints the
                             Ingenus Text Blaster ReadMe file.

Text Blaster Help System     Comprehensive onscreen help system.  Fully
                             integrated with the Ingenus Text Blaster program.
                             It can also be run standalone from the Program
                             Manager.

3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
----------------------------

Installation is very easy.  Just follow these steps:
1. Start Windows.
2. Insert the installation diskette in drive A (or B).
3. From Program Manager, select the File menu and choose Run.
4. Type a:\setup and press ENTER.
5. Follow the instructions presented on-screen.
6. The setup program will take care of everything.

4. REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

Removal of Ingenus Text Blaster from your system is also very easy.  Follow
the same instructions as for installation above.  When the setup program
gives you the choice of installing or removing Ingenus Text Blaster, choose
Remove.

Note: To date, no one has ever done this.

5. KNOWN PROBLEMS
-----------------
1. The automatic changing of printer orientation (Tall or Wide) does not
   work correctly on Windows NT.  This will be corrected in a future
   version of Ingenus Text Blaster. 
2. Some users have reported getting sporadic 'Printer Error' messages when
   trying to print text files.  These errors appear to be memory related and
   can often be circumvented by restarting Ingenus Text Blaster.  This will
   be corrected in a future version of Ingenus Text Blaster.
