The Crossfire Library is an ObjectPAL compiled library designed
to simplify form to form data and message passing in Paradox for
Windows applications.  The library contains methods for passing
data between forms, controlling multiple forms on the desktop,
auto-incrementing numbers and more.

Crossfire Library ships with a full-blown "real world" sample 
application called SoftWatch which demonstrates the power and
flexibility of the library and contains a wealth of advanced
ObjectPAL programming techniques in source form.

To get started, if you did not unzip XFIRE.ZIP with the -d
option (for creating subdirectories) please erase this version
and do this now.  Unzipping the files in this fashion will place
XFIRE.LDL and the appropriate documentation files (in Windows
Write *.WRI format) in the current directory and will also
explode SoftWatch in the directory "SWATCH" below the directory 
where XFIRE.LDL is created.  

It is highly recommended that you read the documentation first
and then explore the sample application to see the benefits that
Crossfire provides.  The documentation is complete with a full
explanation of the Crossfire Library, a tutorial on using 
libraries in Paradox for Windows applications, a method reference 
and an introduction to SoftWatch, the example application.

Aside from Crossfire's merits, SoftWatch is a multi-form Paradox
for Windows application which is provided in uncompiled form for
your examination and use.  Techniques are provide for using the
Crossfire library, using TCursors, centralized menu handling,
managing multiple libraries in an application, data entry,
action message handling, printing the current record,
passing data between forms, controlling form handles,
auto-incrementing numbers, and many more advanced ObjectPAL 
techniques.

Crossfire library may be implemented in your applications with a
minimum of setup coding and will increase your program's appeal
and functionality.  Before attempting to use Crossfire, please
read WARRANTY.WRI and XFIRE.WRI.

useful, a registration fee of $25.00 + shipping & handling is 
requested.  Upon registration, you will receive a licensed
version of Crossfire with full source code to the Crossfire
library, XFIRE.LSL, either via US Mail or via Compuserve, whichever
