The information in this article applies to:

In Print Manager, the Printer Properties dialog box allows you to
share a printer on the network with a specified share name, and to
include a comment if desired. According to the documentation, the
contents of the Location field appears as the comment. However, the
contents of the Printer Name field appears as the comment.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.1
and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. We are researching this
problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge
Base as it becomes available.
