CAUSE ===== When new file types are registered in this manner, File Manager does not generate any notification messages. RESOLUTION ========== There are two methods to work around this situation: - Close File Manager and reopen it. - Choose Associate from the File menu to assign a file type to a file extension. File Manager updates its directory windows.
