FINISH LINE(tm) is software that makes using your PC faster and easier by
allowing you to Finish a Line with a single keystroke.  FINISH LINE
automatically learns your style and vocabulary as you type, then shows
likely words and phrases in a window.  Unlike keyboard macros, it requires
NO set-up commands and no Hot-Keys to remember.

Simply use your computer and favorite application programs as normal.
As you begin typing a word or phrase that FINISH LINE can predict,
FINISH LINE displays the possibilities in a window.  You can press a
single key and FINISH LINE will complete the word or phrase for you.

To install FINISH LINE for DOS:

  - at the DOS prompt type:      A:FINISH I

FINISH LINE will prompt you for the drive and directory for installation.

To install FINISH LINE for Windows:

  - In Window's Program Manager (the main Windows screen) select from
    the menu:
                File | Run

  - Then enter the full drive\directory\name of SETUP.EXE, for example:

                A:\SETUP

   (If you use Norton's Desktop or HP's New Wave instead of Program Manager,
    follow their instructions for RUNning a program).

SETUP will prompt you for the drive and directory to install FINISH LINE
and create the FINISH LINE icon on your desktop, and then run FINISH LINE.

FINISH LINE contains an extensive HELP file that explains what FINISH LINE
does and how to use it.  The easiest way to access HELP is to first install
FINISH LINE (DOS or Windows).  Then you can access FINISH LINE's help
through menu selections or by pressing F1.

If you would like to read the help file before installing FINISH LINE:

 - From DOS, view FINISH.HLP, for example:      MORE <FINISH.HLP

 - From Windows, enter Window's Help from any application.  Then select from
   the menu:   FILE | OPEN   and enter the full drive\directory\name of
   FLW.HLP, for example:      C:\UTIL\FLW.HLP

FINISH LINE for Windows works with most Windows programs.  However it
does not work with DOS programs (even those executing under Windows).
FINISH LINE for DOS works with most DOS programs and can be run directly
from DOS or as a DOS application under Windows.  (You can even
simultaneously run FINISH LINE for Windows and FINISH LINE for DOS).
Thus, there is a version of FINISH LINE for nearly any PC application.

Both versions use the same dictionary file format so words and phrases
learned by one version CAN be transferred to the other.  You can use the
FINISH LINE menu to display or print an Order Form for both DOS and Windows
versions, (including a special discount if you order both!)

Full-function evaluation versions of FINISH LINE for DOS and FINISH LINE for
Windows are available from many bulletin boards and shareware distributors.
