  Dharma Seed Tape Library originated in 1983 to provide a resource for
  meditative instruction, guidance and inspiration by teachers who
  conduct retreats at the Insight Meditation Society. The Library is a
  non-profit organization that currently resides in Wendell Depot,
  Massachusetts and is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors.

  Our goal is to offer you the highest quality recordings possible. Most
  of our tapes are recorded on Dolby B. Sometimes, however, technical
  and human errors occur. If you are not happy with the quality of the
  recordings, please let us know and we'll cheerfully replace the tape
  or refund your money.

  Donations are used to support the teachings and are always welcome.

  We thank all of you who have ordered tapes from us in the past for
  your support and generosity. We hope the Tape Library will continue to
  serve all toward greater understanding and compassion.



  Insight Meditation

  Insight Meditation -- known as Vipassana in the Buddhist tradition --
  aims to free the mind from the distortions of self-centeredness,
  negativity, and confusion. Seeing life as a constantly changing
  process, one begins to accept pleasure and pain, fear and joy, and all
  aspects of life with increasing balance and equanimity. This balanced
  awareness, grounded in the present moment, leads to stillness and a
  growing understanding of the nature of life. Out of this seeing
  emerges wisdom and compassion.





  Insight Meditation Society

  Insight Meditation Society is a retreat center in central
  Massachusetts for intensive meditation practice. Information
