Unique Identifier : AIDSLINE MED/95142597 AB Antiviral activities of the reverse transcriptase inhibitors U-90152 and 3'-azido-2',3'-dideoxythymidine and the protease inhibitor U-75875 were compared in two culture models of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 brain infection. In a model involving acutely infected microglial cells, U-90152 was the most active, whereas in a model using chronically infected promonocytes, U-75875 was the most active.
