Document 0158 DOCN M9550158 TI [Correlation between bronchoalveolar lavage fluid angiotensin converting enzyme levels and T cell subsets in patients with sarcoidosis] DT 9505 AU Li ZH; Li YL; Hou XM; Respiratory Diseases Institute China Medical University,; Shenyang. SO Chung Hua Chieh Ho Ho Hu Hsi Tsa Chih. 1994 Aug;17(4):235-7, 255-6. Unique Identifier : AIDSLINE MED/95136404 AB BALF ACE levels were assayed in patients with sarcoidosis, and their correlation with lymphocyte percentage and TH/Ts ratio in BALF were analysed. The results showed a positive correlation (r = 0.4453, P < 0.05; r = 0.7085, P < 0.01). BALF ACE level was decreased as patients with active sarcoidosis improved clinically, indicating that BALF ACE level may be a sensitive biological parameter in the diagnosis and disease activity assessment of sarcoidosis.
