MAJOR BUG FIX!!!!! 03/05/95 In the previous version of the NAiS Pentium Flaw Test, there was a major bug; the test passed on all computers including Pentiums with the flaw. The reason for this was: (1) The compiler. When it passed through the math test part of the program, it didn't produce code that would test that math equation because the compiler was optimized to produce the fastest code possible and it skipped the math test because the test (x/y*y!=x) was always false on my 486DX2-66. (2) I don't have a Pentium. I didn't test it on a Pentium because an earlier version had failed on my friend's so I had wrongly assumed that my new version would also fail. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused. Everyone who donated will receive the latest version immediatly (either by e-mail or snail mail). This version (3.00) has been tested many times on a REAL Pentium and it failed everytime so it is GUARANTEED to work! Eric Dagenais #*#
