SKED V2.0 - A program scheduler

This program is shareware. See section below.

I created this program after getting fed up with watching MIRROR run every time
I rebooted my machine while debugging a system configuration problem.  Since
MIRROR and other programs need only be run once a day, I decided to write this
little routine.  Every time SKED is run, the program searches your path for the
SKED.INI file.  If it does not find SKED.INI in the path, it will create it in
the current directory.  This file is used by the program to determine when a
section is scheduled to run.  There are 6 sections in SKED.INI:
[Daily]; [Weekly]; [Monthly]; [Quarterly]; [SemiAnnual]; and [Yearly].
Each section contains a date on which the section will be executed.

DIRECTIONS FOR INSTALLATION:
  1.) Place the SKED.EXE program into any directory in your path.
  2.) Run SKED  (this will create a blank SKED.INI for your configuration)
      Note:  If you are upgrading from SKED V1.0 the program will convert your
             SKED.INI to the new format.  Don't worry, it creates a backup of
             your current SKED.INI called SKED.V10.
  3.) Edit SKED.INI and place commands from your AUTOEXEC.BAT into the
      appropriate sections.  Comments are allowed as long as the semicolon (;)
      character is the first character in the line.  DO NOT change the section
      names (ie. [Daily]).
  4.) Remove above commands from your AUTOEXEC.BAT file and insert the command
      SKED.  My preference is to put SKED toward the end of AUTOEXEC.BAT

  WARNING: When running disk-defragmenters from SKED, don't be alarmed when
  you discover an unmovable file in the FAT display.  This is the SKED.INI
  file.  This file must be flagged HIDDEN/SYSTEM to prevent it from being
  moved while SKED is accessing it.  If the file is moved while SKED is
  accessing it, it will become corrupted and any other file moved into
  SKED.INI's place will also be corrupted.

Having said that, I would like to point out that I have tested SKED to the best
of my ability.  Tests were conducted in a variety of situations.  I don't like
making blanket statements eliminating any responsibility I might have, but
this is a crazy world where the number one corporate sport seems to be the law
suit, and I'd love to avoid all of that.  Finally, I will say that if you find
a bug in SKED, report it. Just write and tell me the fix you propose and I'll
work on it and get it uploaded as soon as possible.
