ÉÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ» º PUBLISHING WITH SUPERSHOW V º ÈÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍͼ SuperShow is used world wide to create multimedia magazines and publications on disk and CD-ROM. And with the features of SuperShow 5, you have the most versatile publishing system available for DOS and Windows. You are not confined to pre-defined text boxes and buttons. You may create your own or you use the ones that come with your SuperShow Multimedia Authoring system. Among the tutorial scripts you received with the registered version of SuperShow is PUBLISH.SPT. This tutorial creates a mini-magazine with a Table of Contents, 4 articles and an end program option. In addition, you will see how you can show an animation sequence while waiting for your user to click a button or press a key. Check it out to see the basics of publishing with SuperShow 5. SuperShow 5 is used to create LiveWire Magazine, the monthly multimedia magazine for the GEnie Online Service. When you order our supplemental disk package, we will send you the latest compiled version along with the actual script so you can see how to create a full featured multimedia publication. ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ Here are some particulars regarding the new scrolling features found in SuperShow 5.0: We have created 10 mouse buttons exclusively for text scrolling. These 10 scrolling buttons are in addition to the 22 mouse hot spots available outside the text scrolling boxes. These mouse scroll buttons are entirely programmable by you. You may define the size, shape and location of the mouse buttons as well as the size of your text box. 6 of the mouse buttons are programmed to perform text scrolling features such as page down, line down, top of file (home), end of file (end) and so forth. The other 4 mouse text buttons are used to branch forward, backward, to totally different line labels or for use as a hot-button. (Note: At this point in this presentation, the Previous and Contents buttons will return you to the Control Panel main menu, Next will pop-up another text box.) In addition, you may actually show the button being pressed as we have done in this script. You may create the style and shape of your own buttons or use the ones we have included with your software. You do NOT have to have these button images present to use the text scrolling. If SuperShow doesn't find them, it will continue as normal.
