This is a utility for other visiting SysOps to place an ad for their BBS on your bulletin screen. HOW TO USE ========== Please see the file BBSL.TXT for instructions on how to use BBS Listings. ============================================================================== BBS LISTINGS PAGE 2 SET-UP ====== This is a full working copy of the registered program in every way. I have also included the file CREATEBB.EXE. Use this file to create the DOORxx.BAT or LIVExx.BAT file needed to call the program from Wildcat and also create the file GM.CFG tailored to your BBS. All you need to do is to create the directory where the program will be run from (Ex: D:\WILDCAT\DOORS\BBSL), then move ALL of the files included in this .ZIP into that directory and then type CREATEBB and follow the instructions and prompts. This is a shareware demo but, unlike our normal door programs, this one contains no "time bomb" or other crippling feature. You may use this utility to your heart's content. You are asked however, to register this program if you decide to use it on your BBS. ============================================================================== BBS LISTINGS PAGE 3 CLOSING ======= In closing, let me say that I hope that you and your users enjoy this game as much as I did putting it together. I welcome comments or suggestions on how to make this or other programs released by myself better. This program will work with a locked DTE up to 19200 and has been tested as such on several systems. It should also be noted that BBSL.EXE runs with DOOR PATCH, a derivative of CatPatch which is released by Jim Brewer. Door Patch is not yet available for public release. Door Patch was modified by Crystal Systems International to run with Wildcat Version 3 and with other BBS'. Crystal Systems International is always looking for good ideas for door programs.
