Pascal Tutor is an introductory course to the Pascal programming
language.  It includes generic and and Borland's Turbo Pascal in its
study of the language.  This course is recommended for the novice
who knows nothing about computer programming and others who have
programming experience in other languages.  This is a two disk 
product.  The first diskette contains the tutorial text and it is
recommended that it be printed by use of an included batch file.
The second diskette contains the Pascal source code for each of
the examples included throughout the tutorial.  These examples are
meant to be studied and then compiled and run by the student.
The examples are short and focus in on the topic of discussion.
It is noted that some of the programs will not compile correctly
on a compiler other than the Turbo Pascal version 3.0.  In these
cases the reader may be able to substitute the proper code.  All
of the points of Pascal language, including proper structured
programming techniques, are covered at the elementary levels in
easy to read, well written text.  The authors appear to be highly
skilled in both the use of the programming language and the art of
instruction design.  Required, of course, is a complete IBM hardware
setup, including at least one disk drive, and some sort of Pascal 
compiler.  Also available, in similar format, is a tutorial on the
'C' programming language.
