  INSTALLATION
================

        To read this file, you must have downloaded and un-archived 
        the file KPWINDEM.ARC.  

        You will need to download and un-archive KPWINRUN.ARC as well.

        Once all files are un-archived and copied to the directory of
        your choice, complete installation by running INSTALL.BAT, 
        which will simply add a line to your WIN.INI file.  The syntax 
        to run INSTALL from a DOS prompt is
        
           install <windows directory> <kpwin demo directory>

        for example,

           install c:\windows c:\kpwin

        will add a line to the C:\WINDOWS\WIN.INI file, telling
        Windows that a file with a CKB extension is a compiled 
        KPWIN application, and should be run using the KnowledgePro
        (Windows) runtime.

        If you prefer to modify your WIN.INI file manually,
        add the line

                ckb=<KPWIN directory>\kpwinrun.exe ^.ckb

        to the [extensions] section.  You can also use the Windows
        file manager to Associate the CKB extension with
        KPWINRUN.EXE.

        Once the WIN.INI file has been modified, you are ready 
        to run the KnowledgePro (Windows) demonstration system.  
        To do so, type WIN DEMO.CKB from a DOS prompt, or
        in Windows, simply run DEMO.CKB from the program manager
        or file manager.

        If you are running Windows 3, you can install the KPWIN icon
        to the program manager by running the KPWIN application
        SETICOND.HKB.
